One of the papers (on cross-validating precipitation simulations) was published in the 25 February (2014) issue of “Journal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres”. The second paper (presenting a global dataset on drought) was published in the 11 March (2014) issue of “Scientific Data”, a new journal created by the Nature Publishing Group.
